Alpha Schedule #14 - 0xCAREERS, a WEB3 Job board is here!
*Read this newsletter on the web for the best experience*
Hi Fellaz,
I've mentioned it before: Bear markets are the perfect time to build.
With this quote in mind, I announced earlier this week that I'm currently building out 0xcareers together with Danny Dope (ex-recruiter at Tesla and Google) and the entire Do Good Alpha community.
Essentially, 0xcareers will be a niche job platform for Web 3.0, focused on projects and companies in NFTs and the metaverse (more details below). We're still building towards the launch of the website, but we're already overwhelmed by all the comments and support we've received over the past few days.
What baffles me the most is how we already gathered 380 Twitter followers, 60 job newsletter subscribers, and 25 LinkedIn followers. Thank You!

WE LAUNCHED 0xCAREERS
The goal for 0xcareers is to help get people started with their WEB3 journey by building a niche job platform for Web 3.0 (focused on projects in NFTs and companies in the metaverse).
Additionally, we're aiming to support our community by offering job opportunities, helping them build their WEB3 resume, teaching them new skills, and assisting WEB3 companies and projects in finding their team.
What triggered us to start 0xcareers was reading about the number of projects struggling to find talent, while our communities were very vocal about wanting to work full-time in WEB3.
Since we posted our announcement earlier this week, we gathered an amazing amount of support, including 380 Twitter followers, 60 job newsletter subscribers, and 25 LinkedIn followers.
SPOTIFY STARTS TRIALING NFTS
Artists may soon be able to promote their NFTs on Spotify if a trial rollout goes well.
The latest tech company to jump on the NFT bandwagon, Spotify waded into the web3 world earlier this month with the May 3 launch of "Spotify Island" on Roblox. Starting with a single pilot group of artists, among them Steve Aoki and The Wombats, Spotify will now test NFTs on the platform to specially selected users based in the US.
They will not sell NFTs directly, however, as users will need to tap through to an external marketplace to make purchases. Spotify has said it will not take a cut of the sales as part of the test.
LEDGER LAUNCHES BROWSER EXTENSION
Popular hardware wallet Ledger will make it possible for users of the hardware wallet to connect to Web3 apps directly without relying on third-party apps. The Ledger Connect includes a security layer called Web3 Check that’ll flag suspicious apps for users.
